third book in "The Hunger Games" trilogy.

This book entrapped me. Like I'm having dreams about running from mutts and eating stale bread in the woods. Pretty badass. Everything has to be revealed in the book obviously, its the last one. And reveal they do. Katniss is now in District 13 and Peeta is a prisoner in the capital. Things get pretttyy intense in the ending of this trilogy. Standing ovation to the wonderful writer behind this story.

okay so where do I start. sadly i did not have the book to review upon when i wrote this. I'm a book lender. So here are some things that really stood out for me.

THE ASHES
Yea, so, there's still a District 13....and there is no more District 12. Well that's an enormous twist to our story. Katniss is living in thirteen now with her mother, Prim, Gale, and his family.

-Thirteen was a little bit scary. I agree with Katniss on the whole freaked out for living WAY deep down under the ground. It is pretty damn clean though. And very orderly. the schedules that MUST be followed. That scared me too. I pretty much knew when I met Coin she was going to be almost exactly like Snow once she took power. Because of course once they kill Snow she will be president of Panem. Clean, orderly Coin.

-PEETA IS A PRISONER AT THE CAPITAL!!!  I knew when they aired Peeta interviewing with Caesar all primped and proper that they were covering up hundreds of bruises or used some Capital technology to erase the marks.

-Cinna is really gone :( i was waiting for it. And it never came....At least we got the prep team back. Another scary act on thirteen. Keeping them in the dungeons deeper underground.

THE ASSAULT

-That AWESOME humming bow. I WANT ONE.!!!

-This is where I fell for Finnick Odair. First off, he's a stud and he fell in love with a crazy chic. HOW SWEET IS THAT??? That bad ass trident thing he has going on is hot too. So when he decides to tell his story to Panem I was like, woah. Finnick has been through it. But he definitely didn't let the things that happened to him bring him down. And when they rescue Annie, I swooned over their admiration for eachother, plastured against that wall together.

THE ASSASSIN

-So if they rescued Annie obviously they rescued our Peeta. But he really isn't our Peeta anymore. They Hijacked him with that stupid bee venom and now hes trying to kill Katniss. I was scared the rest of the novel. I thought Collins was really going to keep him in that nasty skitzy shell and leave Katniss wounded and all morphed up forever.

-I had a nightmare about the Lizard mutts the other night. Not cool

-FINNICK.!!!!!!!!!!! :( I've never been so heartbroken in my life. It was one of those noo. Let me read that again....noooo. He made it. We'll see him on a hovercraft at the end all bandaged up and smiling with those sea foam green eyes....:'(

-Let me tell you, out of every misleading corner of this book I NEVER. I repeat, NEVER! thought that it would have happened to Prim. Never......Shady shit. Shady shit.

-VERY excited about the killing in the end. Very Katnissy.
